Kodala Kodala Koduku Pellama’ is dubbed from ‘Saath Nibhaana Saathiya’, launched on 3 May, 2010. The series was broadcasted on Star plus; the series has been dubbed into Telugu and broadcasted on MAA TV, in the name of ‘Kodala Kodala Koduku Pellamaa’ from Monday to Friday every week at 6:00 PM. The series has also been made over in into Tamil as ‘Deivam Thandha Veedu’, which broadcasts on STAR Vijay and remade into Malayalam as ‘Chandanamazha’, which telecasts on Asianet. The story is about two female cousins after their marriages in Modi family. ‘Kodala kodala koduku pellama’ is the story of two cousins - Gopi and Rashi, who are entirely opposite and have different mindsets.

It mainly focusses on the story of ‘Gopi’, who is an orphan and her relationships with different people she meets in her life such as with Kokila, her mother-in-law, her husband, Ahem Modi and Rashi, who plays the role of Gopi’ s cousin. The story is a simple plot with true life characters and situations that reflect's in one’s own life. This show has got huge TRP ratings for the last six months. ‘Pawan Kumar’, Director of this show says that the audience, who habituated in watching drama serials over many years, wants to see something realistic. Coming to the cast, ‘Devoleena Bhattacharjee’ has played the role of Gopi Modi and ‘Rucha Hasabnis’ has played the role of Rashi Modi. Excellent roles have been performed by both of them making the audience sit in front of their TVs.

Though the serial was slowly attracted in the initial stage, but steadily, it gained the attention from the audience, thereby making the show a huge success.
