Satya Krishnan

Satya Krishna is a famous Telugu character artist. She was born in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh. She has completed her degree in hotel management from Taj group of hotels before entering films. She dreamt of becoming an airhostess. She worked in BNP Paribas bank, at Punjagutta, before her film career. She never thought of becoming an actress. After the film she married and stayed away from films. But due to force of Sekhar Kammula she again did a movie Anand, directed by Sekhar. In this film she acted as Anitha, house owner of Anand.

She won Nandi award for best supporting actress and she says the role Anitha is very close to her life. After the film, she quit her job in the bank and concentrated more on films. Her dedication brought her many film chances. She continued as character artists in many of the Telugu films like Modati Cinema, Bommarillu, Athili Sattibabu LKG, Ready, Bahumati, Dookudu, Ishq, Rachcha, etc., She acted as a bike racer in Aadi’s film, Lovely. Her action in Mental Krishna won her critics’ appreciation. Satya Krishna usually says that her husband is the secret behind her success and he encourages her a lot.
