. It ran for a total of 9 episodes. As the name suggests, Safarnama is a travel show that features a few places that come along the path from Mumbai to Ladakh via the Himalayas. India has a lot of beauty hidden in places that are usually disregarded. Through this show, the channel has set out to explore this beauty. The actor, along with the team, travels to these places and explores their attractions. Safarnama released promos for every episode on the channel and social media.
Ankit Siwach talks about the place, his experience, and his personal feelings about the place and the people there. He talks to the locals about their lives in those places and lets the audience know their unheard stories. He learns about the history, culture, beliefs, traditions, local festivals, special foods of the place. The places featured on the show are; a Buddhist monastery, Vashisht village, the Jogini waterfalls, Kullu, Manali, Bijili Mahadev temple, small villages near the line of control, the Hemis monastery, Nubra valley, Yarab Tso lake, Pangong Tso lake, Chang La Pass, the Hall of Fame War memorial, and Leh, his final destination.
