Ali Raza Namdar, although not at the top of the ladder, has still made a well-kept mark on the entertainment scene. He was born in May 1961 and received his qualifications at Bombay University. His early career started out as a series of theatrical plays and soaps. His debut was in 1978 in the play, Balwant Ni Baby.
Namdar’s popularity with the fans has grown especially since his role in
Rang Badalti Odhani (2010). His fanbase grew significantly with his role as the elder Khandelwal member in which he portrayed the character with great class and enthusiasm. As a recognized and talented actor he was also a nominee for the Indian Telly Award for Best Actor in a Negative Role as Amar in the Indian soap opera Thode Khushi Thode Gham (2006).
Some of the more prestigious films that he has been cast in includes Raghu More: Bachelor of Hearts (2003) and the 1999 romance musical, Taal, with Aishwarya Rai and
Anil Kapoor in which Ali Raza played Pankaj Kudesia. In 2013, Namdar was also invited to replace veteran cast member
Yatin Karyekar on the Indian TV serial Saraswatichandra. He played the father of Kumud, Vidyachatur. The most recent cast in which he was involved was the dramatic Indian thriller film called
