Pratighat is a Hindi serial broadcast on the DD National channel. In this show, a man named Vikrant visits his aunt’s house. Vikrant’s aunt has a daughter named Preeti and an elder brother named Amar. Amar works in a factory. His aunt is at the temple. Preeti is teasing Vikrant and they both fight a lot. Vikrant asks about Preeti's studies. Vikrant’s aunt brings breakfast for him. While he is eating, Amar comes back from the factory. And both the brothers tease their sister Preeti endlessly. Vikrant says that he has only one little sister, and has full freedom to tease and fight with her. She becomes angry with Vikrant. Vikrant asks why he went to the factory.
