This season premiered on 30th May 2015 when the judges traveled to most cities of India and held auditions for participants between ages 5 and 16. After days of vigorous judging, the most difficult task for the judges was to select a few people among hundreds of deserving people. Finally, only thirteen contestants were selected among all for the show. The show aired the participants performing every day their renditions of popular songs on stage.
