Himmanshoo A Malhotra is an Indian actor known for his various roles in Indian television serials.
Born on April 2, 1982 in Mumbai he first broke in small screen with a television reality show Zee Cinestars Ki Khoj. Himmanshoo is the elder brother of another known actor Mohit Malhotra and has completed his MBA. He had mentioned in an interview that if he had not succeeded in his acting career, he would have opted to play cricket or join his father's business.
After successfully participating in the television reality show, he has appeared in several television serials over the years. His popular television serials are Champs (2008), Subh Kadam (2009), Aap ki Antara (2009), Bhagonwali-Baane Apni Taqdeer (2010), Love Marriage Ya Arranged Marriage (2012) and Rab Se Sohna Issq (2013). Besides the regular roles in this TV series, the actor has also appeared in various episodes of serials like Star One's Horror Night, Kitni Mohabbat Hai 2 and Pavitra Rishta.
Besides serials, he has also appeared in Sprite Ad campaign and print advertisements for CNBC, ICICI, Ultra Tech Cement, Extra Josh, Tata housing loans and Samarth-Sampan Wheat products.
Although, he dreamt of being a national cricket player, Himmanshoo in his personal website states that he does not regret coming into the movies as he is now one of the leading members of Indian Television Squad!

Himmanshoo A Malhotra is an Indian film and television actor who gained fame after bagging the role of Sameer in the popular soap, Aapki Antara on Zee TV.
Himanshoo was popularly known as Himmanshoo A. Malhorta. He was born on April 2, 1982 in New Delhi, India. He is Mohit Malhotra’s elder brother. He studied at Kulachi Hansraj Model School it is a branch of DAV Public School located in Delhi. He was a bright and intelligent student who used to sit in the front desk and answer all the questions from his teachers.
Subsequently, he moved into college and studied at Delhi University. He played cricket while in college and later on, he stopped studying and took up professional cricket. He was one of the members of the Indian Television Squad which was owned by Mr. Anil Vanvari. They usually play cricket together with the senior television actors.
After 3 years of playing cricket professionally, his parents asked him to leave cricket and continue his studies. Then, he started to pursue Master of Business Administration (MBA). He got good grades so he entered Amity University. He joined dancing, dramatics, anchoring and presentations in Amity just like what he did when he is in his previous schools, where he used to joined mono-acting competitions. After one year, he joined many reality shows and did some auditions until he got a call from Zee Cine Stars Ki Khoj in 2004. He took the chance when he got two months break in school and went to Mumbai. He was one of the top 3 contestants in group B for Boys. Since then, his journey as an actor began.
He was seen in UTV Bindass Champs as Raj. Later, he acted in the horror series, Shubh Kadam as Swayam. He was also part of Sony TV’s Seven – The Ashvamedha Prophecy and essayed the role of Haryaksh Vashisht. He played as the second male lead in the drama soap, Bhagonwali – Baante Apni Taqdeer on Zee TV along with Runjhun Mishra Shukla. In 2012, Himanshoo played as Anup Sisodiya in the drama soap, Love Marriage Ya Arranged Marriage on Sony TV, opposite with Samaira Rao. He was also part of Jay Productions Rab Se Sohna Isshq. He did some episodics in Fear Files on Zee TV and acted as a super cop in Encounter on Sony TV. After this, he took a break when his father died on the day of Himanshoo’s birthday. He had to settle all things before going back to Mumbai. Then, he did an episodic in Yeh Hai Aashiqui on Bindass channel where he essayed the role of a cop who will uncover human trafficking and suddenly, he fell in love with Shivshakti Sachdev’s character. Recently, Himansoo entered the serial entitled, Airlines on Star Plus. He played the role of Rohit Mafatlal, the owner of Airlines.
He debuted in the Bollywood industry through the comedy film, Mr. Khujili under the direction of Raj N. Sippy.

Himanshu is a well-known face on Indian TV screen as he has appeared in many shows including Seven, Hum Tum, Shubh Kadam, Bindass Champ, Bhagonwali- Baante Apni Taqdeer, and Aap Ki Antara. This actor made his Bollywood debut with Mr. Khujli of Raj Sippy.

Himanshu was born and brought up in a business-oriented family in New Delhi. After completing MBA he set foot in the industry. His younger brother, Mohit Malhotra is also an actor. He would have either a become cricketer or joined the family business had he not been an actor.
