‘Bhaago KK Aaya’ was a Hindi sitcom series, which premiered on SAB TV on January 29th, 2008. It is the story of the owner of a newspaper who is often known as the ‘loser boss’. Initially, the sitcom series was planned for 26 episodes. It is produced by Abhimanyu Singh's Entertainment that produced the popular show, ‘Savdhaan India- India Fights back’. This series was directed by Raju Palsekar, and the creative director of the sitcom is Karan Mirchandani.
The story focused on the prime character name KK, who is played by the super talented Kiku Sharda. Other supportive cast members include the beautiful Navina Bole and the comic Amit Bhatt (who later went on to play the role of Champaklal in the popular show, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah).The show was telecast every Tuesday at 8 pm. The sitcom is also a sequel to another miniature sitcom ‘Sab Ka Boss’. In this show, main protagonist and comedian Kiku Sharma is a dumb and always cracks sick jokes in his office.
As the name of the sitcom ‘Bhaago KK, Aaya’ suggests, people run away from him at the very mention of his name. Anooj Kapoor, Business Head of SAB TV, opined that since ‘Sab Ka Boss’ had received a huge applause from audiences, the channel had gone ahead to try a similar concept for another full-fledged show.
