The Price Is Right is a game show that aired on American television. The show started in 1956 and was hosted by Bill Cullen but was, revamped in 1972. It was broadcasted on NBC, a cable channel that produces high-end entertainment. After that ABC purchased the broadcasting rights and was telecasted on ABC. As of now, the show broadcasts on CBS, another American cable company. After the revamp the show was hosted by Bob Barker till 2007. After 2007 the host of the show was changed and now is hosted by Drew Carey. The show was produced by Mark Goodson and Bill Todman and created by Bob Stewart.

The Price Is Right is currently produced and owned by Fremantle Media. The show features a variety of games and one had to play these games to win some basic prizes. In the show, the host presents some daily use items, and the contestants have to guess the price. Some items are rare to find. At first, four contestants from the audience were chosen to play the game, and the winner gets a chance to play with the host. He has to guess the price of one to 70 different things. The contestants had to play three games like that, and after these three games, he gets to spin a wheel and tries to get the price close to 1$.

Two highest winners of the show get to play in the finals, and then the ultimate winner of the show is declared. At the end of the season, the winner gets a different prize. Some of them are Cars sometimes they are a room full of household furniture. Sometimes some other things and they all depend on the producers of the show. The Award is presented by three female models. They are supposed to attract them and make the game more popular.

In 2020 the 48th season of the show was broadcasted with 165 episodes, in it. After each game, a new player from the audience is called after someone loses. The show has won numerous awards for being one of the best game shows in American television history.
