Plot
Vishnu lost his father, and his mother remarried. Vishnu doesn’t have any good idea about relationships. Vishnu and Balu have been friends since childhood. Balu loves Priya, and he seeks Vishnu’s help. Vishnu meets Priya and tells Balu’s love for her. But Priya tells Vishnu that she loves him and not Balu. Vishnu starts loving Priya, and their togetherness shocks Balu. What is Balu’s next step? Will he end his friendship with Vishnu? The rest of the film deals with friendship, the relationship between Vishnu and Priya, and societal issues.
Star Performance
Shreyas delivered an intense performance. He excelled in action sequences, too. Priya Prakash Varrier delivered an emotional performance. Her eyes speak more than the dialogue.
Analysis
The story is a usual one with the same love formula. It is an old wine in a new bottle. One of the errors in the film is that in a scene, they play a song from the 2000s when the film is actually set in the 90s. Minor errors should’ve been taken care of and avoided. Despite the short running time, the film feels a little stretchy due to the slow pace. However, the performances are decent enough to make up those minus points. Though the film has a predictable story, it is technically sound. The visuals are cool, and the BGM plays an important role.
