Plot
Rayappa controls the Erragudi area of Rayalaseema. Hanumanthu was his right hand. Rayappa has a daughter, and Hanumanthu has a son and both are friends. Due to some differences between Rayappa and Hanumanthu, they get separated and become enemies. After years, Rayappa and Hanumanthu’s children, Srinu and Bujjamma, fell in love with each other and decided to get married. But, their decision to get united hadn’t gone well with their parents. Meanwhile, it is heard that there is a hidden treasure in the village temple and there is a huge competition to loot it. While MLA Nagamma aims to find the treasure and win over the temple, Rayappa is also expecting the same. In this process, he is ready to sacrifice anyone, including his daughter. What happened next? Who grabbed the power? The rest of the story speaks about that.
Star Performance
Lakshmi Manchu has got a dual role: one with a positive shade and the other with a negative shade. She looks good in the negative shade. Aditya Om, Srijita, Suhasini, and Esther are decent in their roles.
Analysis
Though there are similar kinds of stories released in Telugu, this is a different attempt, with Lakshmi Manchu doing a different role for the first time. However, the writing could’ve been better. While telling a period story, the makers should concentrate much on the backdrop setting, dialogue, and the facts that happened during that era. Though these are okay in this movie, the movie’s pace is not compelling. The romantic portions are okay, and a part of Lakshmi’s roles is good. Some of the characters lack the detailing. The music is just okay, the visuals are average, and the editing could’ve been better.
