Shatamanam Bhavati is the family entertainer directed by Satish Vegesna. Dil Raju produced the film. “ Sharwanand” and Anupama Parameshwaran play the lead roles. Prakash Raj and “ Jayasudha” played the grandparents to Sharwanand. This couple had already worked together in various films including “Bomarilu” and Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chetu. This is the second film for them together in the combination of Dil Raju. “ Mickey J Meyer” composes the music.

Raghava Raju lives in his village with his wife Janakamma and grandson Raju. Although he has a healthy and wealthy life, Raghavaraju has a sad feeling that all his sons and the grandchildren, who settled in abroad hesitates to visit him. As he wants to see them, he plans differently to bring them to India on Sankranti. When Janakamma comes to know about his plan, she is terribly shocked. At the same time, some problems arise in their family. What is the plan by Raghavaraju? Why did he plan to bring his sons and family on Sankranti? Did his plan work out? Catch the rest on the silver screen.

Star Performances

As usual Prakash Raj and Jayasudha did their roles perfectly. Sharwanand’s performance is lovely to watch. Anupama, the girl who impressed everyone with her charming performance in A…Aa and “ Premam,” strikes it once again.

Satish has picked up the usual formula to bring a lively family story. As per his formula, the actors and the technicians had done a good job. The background setup and cast forms a major part in the film and the director has excelled in it.

What’s There?

  • Beautiful pairs – Sharwanand and Anupama & Prakash Raj and Jayasudha
  • Neat performance by the leads
  • Sameer Reddy gets a pat for his Cinematography
  • Music by Mickey J Meyer is excellent

What’s Not There?

  • No special script and it is predictable
  • Boring second half

Are you a person with sentiments? Then this is a perfect film for you! Definitely, you will like the performances of the artists and the cool background caught by the camera. Give it a try! You won’t be deceived!
