Plot

The film is about four friends- Vivek, Kaushik, Karthik and Uppi. All these friends wanted to build a career in film-making but settle in different jobs. Vivek works in the IT sector, Karthik works as a club manager who is getting married to marry Aarti, his boss's daughter, Uppi works as a wedding photographer, and Kaushik is a dubbing artist. After a long time, these four friends meet with each other when Karthik organizes a bachelor party. Here, they meet Shirley, who invites them to a music festival in Goa.

They all plan a trip to Goa by car. But soon, they face several challenges here. Karthik loses his engagement ring worth and needs Rs 5 lakhs to buy a similar ring. All four friends decide to participate in a Short-film making festival in Goa in order to win Rs 6 lakh for their friend Karthik.

Will they be able to win this prize money? What difficulties are the four friends going to face ahead? Will the marriage of Karthik happen? Is there any twist in the end?

Star Performance

Abhinav Gomatam’s performance is the best. His dialogue delivery and comedy, especially during the drinking scenes, make the film entertaining. He alone adds strength to the film. Vishwak Sen, who played the role of Vivek, looks like a real heartbroken man on the screen. He played his character with all the required emotions.

Though the female cast, Anisha Ambrose and Simran Chaudhary, were given small roles, they tried their best to make the film interesting. They both delivered a fantastic performance and look beautiful on screen. Sai Sushanth Reddy, Venkatesh Kakumanu, and the rest of the cast did everything required.

Analysis

The comedy in the second half is the film’s real strength. It keeps the film engaging. The dialogues of this film are superb and the camera work is outstanding. The production values are also good. Although there are many new young actors in this film, they have delivered a remarkable performance.

However, the film has one major fault. The introduction part of all the four friends is very slow-paced, which can make some of the viewers feel bored. As a whole, this film looks very natural and real. Through this film, director Tharun Bhascker has proved that Tollywood can still make good romantic- comedy films.
