Plot
Sahadev lives in Talakona. He produces rare wild cotton, which has a huge demand in Europe. Nalini, a journalist, writes an article about him. As she comes to know more about him, she starts investigating more about him. She inquires about Sahadev from the MLA’s PA and people in that area. To her shock, she investigates that Sahadev is Eagle, who the RAW searches. Finally, she learns Sahadev’s motive from Jai, Sahadev’s aide. But, the naxals, terrorists, and Raw are trying to bring down Sahadev, who has his kingdom with huge arms and technology. Did their effort work? What happened to Sahdev? The rest of the film deals with this.
Star Performance
Ravi Teja is good in action and romance, as usual. Navdeep looks handsome and did a decent job. Anupma has no combination scenes with Ravi Teja. Yet, she got a solid role. Vinay didn’t get a significant role, like Madhoo and Srinivas Avasarala. They just appear on screen, mouth some dialogues, and move. Ajay Ghosh has done a comedy role along with Srinivasa Reddy.
Analysis
The film was shot in a non-linear pattern, which is the biggest drawback. The director might have thought that if the present and past are shown alternatively, the audience may connect with Sahadev and Eagle. His idea has gone wrong. There can be some flashbacks, but the film has a complete sequence change front and back, which makes us feel tedious. However, it deals with a good social message. Taking such a global message as the central subject, the director should have opted for direct storytelling. Besides, the climax resembles “
