Plot
Murthy is a middle-aged man living in a village. He runs a music shop and is also passionate about music. As the shop runs in loss, his family pressures him to shut the shop. After meeting Anjana, a youngster, Murthy’s dream becomes big and he moves to Hyderabad, to become a DJ. Was he successful? The rest of the film speaks about this.
Star Performance
Ajay Ghosh appeared in villainy and comedy roles and entertained us. This time, he plays the titular role and gives a strong performance. His expressions are fantastic and Ajay excels in emotional scenes too. His character is laced with comedy and a bit of seriousness and he paces it right. Chandini Chwdary’s motivating role as Anjana is inspiring. Aamani shines as Ajay’s wife. Her natural performance adds value to the film.
Analysis
This is an unexpected script and cast. Ajay Ghosh’s lead role is a surprising one, and kudos to the casting team who chose him. The oscillating role is penned neatly and it adds a new and beautiful feather to Ajay Ghosh’s hat. Aamani’s role is realistic and we can relate her character to the people we meet daily. Sreenivas Bejugam coved the beauty of Hyderabad and the rural areas well and brought cool visuals to us. Bonthala Nageswara Reddy Bio coming soon... >> Read More... did a decent job as an editor. Though the film is good in both halves, the scenes toward the climax are not much convincing.
