Karthik Ghattamaneni is a young Indian cinematographer, short film maker and film director hailing from Hyderabad, India.He was born on 28th October, 1988. He completed his schooling in Hyderabad. Later, he studied Computer Science at Institute of Aeronautical Engineering in the city. He was born to an IPS officer at Hyderabad. He had no links in the film industry nor did he follow the family tradition. Karthik was always fascinated about movies but was not sure about it. During his engineering, he did short films and was very fascinated by the art and craft of editing. He believed that editing is a part of conveying a story which led him to start directing. In 2005, along with a bunch of friends like Edward, Vijay, Gautam and Ajay; he established “Pondfreaks Entertainment” with his passion for film making.

They were one of the earliest groups in the city that made short films and that too without any sort of formal training. He and his team made some hit short films like ‘Infinity’, ‘Bewars’, ‘Nadir’, ‘Sunshine’, ‘Close doors’, ‘Invisible fish’, etc. Some of them received great appreciations. He also won a lot of short films competitions at inter-collegiate festivals. In 2010, he decided to enroll himself for learning cinematography in Mindscreen Film institute at Chennai, India. Chota K. Naidu is a prominent Indian cinematographer in the Telugu film industry. He is the brother of Tollywood cinematographer, Shyam K. Naidu and the uncle of Sundeep Kishan (Telugu actor). His first film as a cinematographer was the 1991 Telugu film, Amma Rajinama, helmed by Dasari Narayana Rao. He earned the Filmfare Award for Best Cinematographer – South for the 2008 Telugu film, Kotha Nagaru Lokam and the 2012 Telugu fantasy film, Damarukam. He worked in the cinematography of the Telugu films, Raguluthunna Bharatham, Santaan, Deyyam, Veedavadandi Babu, Master, Choodalani Vundi, Kunwara, Annayya, Daddy, Kya Yehi Pyaar Hai, Baba, Aadi, and much more. He is notable for his work in the blockbuster Telugu comedy film, Venkatadri Express, in 2013. This film stars Sundeep Kishan and Rakul Preet Singh in the lead roles. It was said that his cinematography was the main strength of the movie. In the same year, Naidu has worked in the Telugu action-comedy-thriller film, Baadshah. He is also the cinematographer of Harish Shankar’s action masala film, Ramayya Vasthavayya. In 2015, he handled the cinematography of the Telugu films, Beeruva and Tiger, which both starred Sundeep Kishan in the lead role. K K Senthil Kumar is a Cameraman in Telugu Film Industry. He is a Tamilian born and brought up in Bolaram, Secunderabad. Krishna Murthy, his father, has three children and K K Senthil Kumar is the eldest. He got married to Ruhee on 25th June 2009. She is a yoga instructor. They are blessed with two sons. He is a pass out of Film and Television Institute of India, Pune with a Degree in Cinematography. He graduated in the year 1998. K K Senthil Kumar’s journey in the Film Industry started unintentionally for him. Initially, he was fond of cricket in his college days. He was a good player; Kapil Dev was his role model. Then he looked up to make a career in Civil Services. While preparing for Civil Services exams he also applied for FTII (Film and Television Institute of India) on friend’s advice. He got selected there and his journey to be a Cinematographer begun. He had no contacts or any background in the Film Industry and was jobless after his graduation. On the advice of a Film Colorist Punnayya, he started assisting a cinematographer Sharath. His first film as an assistant was Premaku Velayara in 1999 and worked as assistant till the film, Jabili. He was then asked by Chandra Sekhar Yeleti, the Director, to work as his cameraman for TV serial Amrutham. This became his platform to make the entry in Film Industry as a Cinematographer. He got his first film as a Cinematographer by Chandra Sekhar Yeleti only, named Aithe. This film won the National Award for Best Feature Film in Telugu. After this film, he was again jobless for six months till he was called by S S Rajamouli for a film, named Sye. His partnership with Rajamouli started with this film. He is called the eye of S S Rajamouli. Some of the films they have worked together are ‘Chatrapati’, ‘Magadheera’, ‘Eega’ and the epic ‘Baahubali: The Beginning’ and still counting. Senthil has won the Awards for Best Cinematographer for the films ‘Eega’ in SIIMA (South Indian International Movie Awards), Magadheera (2010) in Filmfare Awards South and CineMAA Awards and also for the film ‘Yamadonga’ (2008). The interesting fact is S S Rajamouli directs all these three films. He likes to experiment new techniques in his work. As he has tried different techniques in all of his projects and the result has been amazing. He likes to stretch his limits.
