Plot

The politicians had wholly neglected a Tribal community in a hilly region. Gowri, an actress, had been working for the upliftment of the community and hence the tribal community trusts her that she will find some way for their development. But to their shock, she gets killed mysteriously. Usha, a journalist, is a friend of Gowri and she decides to find out the murderers with the help of another friend Priya and her husband Pradeep. She started to trace out the past activities of Gowri. A few days after this, Pradeep, Priya and Usha are attacked by some gangsters. Later, Usha comes to know that they had been attacked by the people who are connected with the murder of Gowri. Who killed Gowri and what is the reason behind it? Watch the movie to know the answer to these questions.

Star Performance

The stars had performed quite naturally. Varalaxmi, Kasthuri and Malavika played extremely well. Santhosh Krishna and Prakash did justice to the given roles.

Analysis

The movie starts with the struggles of a particular community. So, we might think that the film would be about some community issues. But the screenplay takes us to a different plot. There are a lot of action scenes and they are interestingly filmed. But certain action scenes are lengthy and make the audience feel bored. There are a lot of twists and turns. But, they are not elaborated properly. If the screenplay had been better, then the movie would have reached better.

All the fight sequences are perfectly made, but after a certain point it becomes boring

Verdict

The movie with the different script has some fantastic performances by Varalaxmi, Malavika, Santhosh Krishna and Prakash. Although the film has some negative points, the performance of these stars makes the movie watchable. Velvet Nagaram - watchable once!
