Plot
Sathish lives in a village near Madurai. He is jobless and roaming around the village with his friends. Haritha falls for him, but Sathish is blank about Haritha. Sathish’s friend loves a girl from a different community. As their parents didn’t accept, Sathish arranges for their marriage and this doesn’t go well with the village people and hence Sathish had to get out of the village. Meanwhile, he falls for Gopitha and she too loves him. When they both decided to get married, Sathish was arrested for murder. Whom did he murder? Is he the real murderer? Watch the film in theaters!

Sathish, Haritha and Gopitha had given a decent performance
Analysis
Although this is a regular script, the director who has made his debut, had done a decent job. Sathish has brought the village life before the eyes. The village culture, the people and their characters, the alcoholism, communal clashes and the misconduct are dealt with. The songs and the BGM are quite decent and the cinematography is good. As it is a low budget film, the technical values are okayish for the budget. If the budget is little high, then it would have been pretty decent.

Verdict
Semmari Aadu deals with the village subject, which we had already seen for decades. However, for the first attempt by Sathish, we could appreciate it. If you don’t have any films to watch, try this film that has newbies.
