Plot

Anjamma is the elder sister of Hanumanthu, and they both reside in a village. Hanumanthu falls in love with Meenakshi, a doctor. When the village chief and Meenakshi lock horns, Hanmanthu eventually gets in trouble as he supports Meenakshi. Meanwhile, Hanumanthu gets a precious stone and gains superpowers. Hanumanthu uses his superpower to safeguard the village. When Michael, who wants to have superpowers, hears about the precious stone, he wants to grab it. The rest of the story deals with how Hanumanthu saves the village and the precious stone from Michael.

Star Performance

Teja Sajja's performance is so convincing. His transformation from an ordinary man to a savior is impressive. Varalaxmi brings a power-packed performance, and once again, she proves that she can play any role with ease. Amritha Aiyer did a decent job. Vinay is such a wonderful choice to portray the antagonist. His character's obsession with the superhero is beautifully revealed. The rest of the characters did justice to the given characters.

Analysis

The choice of actors is first class in Hanuman. The casting team should be appreciated for picking Varu and Vinay for their roles. They both fit well in the given roles and entertain the audience. The visuals are amazing, and the editing is neat. However, better editing in the first half would have saved a little more time. The songs and the BGM are fantastic, and they gel well with the story. VFX works are fantastic. The film is technically sound, and no flaws are seen in that aspect.

What's Not There?

No big flaws, except for a little sharp editing

Verdict

The film bridges a new relationship between the past myth and contemporary situations. The action and performance-packed film is definitely watch-worthy!
