Semma Botha Aagathey, the action stoner film is directed by Badri Venkatesh. G Radhakrishnan looked after the dialogues and Yuvan Shankar Raja composed the music. Semma Botha Aagathey features, “ Atharvaa,” “ Mishti,” Anaika Soti, " Karunakaran," John Vijay, MS Bhaskar and “ Manobala” in the star cast. Atharvaa’s Kickass Entertainment produced the film. Gopi Amarnath cranked the camera and Praveen KL is the editor.

Ramesh and Madhu love each other and when they wanted to get married, their relationship broke up. Ramesh couldn’t forget his girlfriend and started taking alcohol unlimitedly.  With the suggestion of his friend Nandhu, Ramesh decides to spend his time with a call girl, so that he could forget Madhu. When the call girl Neena arrived, with a slight shiver, he takes her in. But, he had to go out, as his neighbor’s dad has to be admitted to the hospital immediately. So, he left Neena at home and gone to the hospital. But, when he returns from the hospital, he is left with a great shock, as the call girl is dead. As he couldn’t go to the police, he decides to find out how did she die and who is the reason for her death. Watch the interesting film in theaters!

Star Performance

Atharvaa is good in his role and similarly Karunakaran. Anaika has nothing to perform much and the same goes for the female lead, Mishti.

When a director chooses such a script, he will make it a serious film. But, Badri has chosen to go in a comedy way and finally gives a general message too. The production values are good. The cinematography is excellent and the editing by Praveen and the music by Yuvan Shankar Raja are brilliant in the film. Mishti and Atharvaa flashback scenes should have been made in a better way.

What’s There?

  • Performance of Atharvaa and Karunakaran
  • Cinematography, music and editing are perfectly perfect

What’s Not There?

  • Scenes between the leads are not impressive
  • Heroine’s characterization is not good

On the whole, the film is neither a classic film nor a poor film. It could be watched once for the performance of Atharvaa and Karunakaran!
