Plot
Chellammal works as a housemaid in a cop’s house. Chellammal is married to an alcoholic guy. Started as a normal conversation, the cop develops an illegal relationship with Chellammal. Soon, he gets killed and his body is found in pieces. Two youngsters are wrongly accused of this murder. Soon, a diligent cop handles this case. While investigating the case, he finds out that the maid’s husband tried to sell the murdered cop’s mobile phone. In further investigation, he finds out the relationship between the cop and the maid. Meanwhile, the murdered cop’s wife gets stuck in an issue. How did she get out of the issue? Who killed the cop? The rest of the story deals with this.
Star Performance
Bhagyaraj is good, as usual. Sonia Agarwal did what was required of her. Ramdev should’ve tried a bit to perform better.
Analysis
The core theme of the film is based on out-of-wedlock relations. The director tried his best to showcase that. Bhagyaraj and Sonia Agarwal are the right choices for the roles, and they did what was required. However, the director should’ve performed better as an actor. A few suspense elements are okay. However, the screenplay is not gripping. The pacing variations irk the audience. BGM and editing are not up to the mark.
