Sullu is directed by Vishnu Bhardwaj. The movie has Vijaybabu, Anumol and Master Vasudev in important roles.

Plot

Jithu, an eight-year-old kid gets stuck in a cupboard. While he is in the cupboard, fighting to come out, his mind thinks about a lot of activities that had happened in the past, when people take it for granted. How did he come out? Where are his parents? Watch the film to know the rest.

Star Performance

Master Vasudev had played his part excellently well. Vijaybabu and Anumol play his parents and they did justice to the roles.

Analysis

The film has a good storyline and it is narrated from the child’s point of view. Although the script is good, it will become complete only with the narration and the performances. Here, performances are quite okay, but the narration should have been better. The entire movie had been placed in the kid Vasudev’s shoulders and he carried out well. The cinematography is perfect. The film didn’t focus in the initial scenes, where the child goes missing. The director takes the pace only after narrating it in the child’s focus.

What’s There?

  • The cinematography is good
  • The stars had performed well

What’s Not There?

  • Narration should have been better
  • The depth in the supporting roles are missing

Verdict

The movie has a good story and performance by the stars. Yet, the narration should have been better. However, it could be watched once!
