Plot

Dony and Robert are brothers. Xavier is their close friend. These three were trained in boxing and karate by Antony Ashaan. Antony is a friend of RDX’s fathers. RDX’s parents are irritated as these 3 are often involved in fights. Robert loves Mini. Jaison, a person from Mini’s area, comes to the Cochin Carnival, and he has a fight with Robert. In that fight, Jaison’s leg is broken, and an accident by Robert puts the carnival to an end. After this incident, Philip, Robert’s father, sends him to Bangalore. After a few years, Philip was beaten by some people in a Carnival. On seeing this, Dony thrashed them. However, the gangsters enter their house and beat them up. Dony and his wife were injured severely, and jewellery was robbed too. What happened next? Will Robert take revenge? The rest of the story deals with these things.

Star Performance

Shane Nigam, Antony Varghese, and Neeraj Madhav have done pretty good jobs. Vishnu Agasthya’s villainy performance is appreciable.

Analysis

Most of the Mollywood films will not involve in deep action sequences and the rarest piece in Mollywood’s action film is RDX. The action sequences are choreographed well. However, they should have avoided the old pattern of fights. The entry scenes and the build-up scenes are impressive. It should be appreciated as they didn’t have any punch dialogues. The makers should be appreciated for giving the heroes equal importance in all the scenes they appear in, despite their appearance length. The same goes for the female leads. The screenplay is gripping and that’s one of the biggest pluses in the film. Though it has action sequences and a gripping screenplay, the story should have been better.
