Plot
Mani and Achu are just about three and a half feet in height, and they work as housemaids. Although they have a simple life, they are happy and contented with each other. As the name of the movie translates, the film presents the story of three and a half feet tall. They are employed in an old-aged couple’s house who treat them as their own. All goes well for Mani and Achu until their employers are killed mysteriously and Mani is framed for the killing. Will they be able to find the real culprit? Will they be able to prove Mani’s innocence? The rest of the story deals with this.
Star Performance
The performances of Arumukan and Mani are superb. They perfectly portray their characters as a couple everybody loves. Their chemistry is also good together. Krishnakumar does a fine task in his villainous role. The rest of the cast also act well and add depth to the storyline.
Analysis
The movie is about the lives of a dwarf couple. The film portrays the issues and problems such people face in the society, how most times they are excluded from the society due to their short stature. The story of the film is intriguing and keeps the audience hooked to their seats. The acting done in the movie is superb and the connection between the cast feels natural. There is only one song in the movie, but it plays its crucial part in showing the depth between the characters of Mani and Achu.
