Kunjali Marakkar is an upcoming movie in the Tollywood film industry. The film will be made in the Malayalam language and will be made in the historical drama genre. It is also a very interesting fact that the producer of the movie, Santosh Sivan will be the person wielding the camera for the film. The film will feature Mammootty and Prithviraj in the lead roles in the movie. It gained a lot of attention when there were rumors that Mohanlal is also on the line for the film. It was very controversial, and the Mammootty was finally able to get the movie in his half. He will do the role of the legendary Muslim warrior Kunjali Marakkar. He is considered on the most powerful army in charge of all times. After a lot of rumors, Mammootty finally got over the edge and bagged the role of Kunjali Marakkar. The shooting of the film started earlier this year in the month of February.

The trailer of the film was released last month, and it has left the audience speechless with its fantastic screenplay and high technical effects and graphics. The makers have hired a Bangalore-based company to provide the visual effects, and it seems they have put their hand in the right place. The film is supposed to be released in 3D as well if the rumors are to be believed. It was also announced later after the release of the trailer that the movie will also be dubbed in Tamil and Telugu and released in the subsequent languages.
