Plot
A four-member team called Kannur Squad is famous for their investigations. ASI George is their head. The team goes to any extent to find the solution to the pending criminal cases. All on a sudden, a charge against one of the members for corruption made the team dismantle. But, there comes a situation when the police department need the Kannur Squad to find out the culprits involved in a robbery in a politician’s house. Did Kannur Squad solve the issue? Did they catch the robbers? What are the shocking revelations found out by the squad? The rest of the story deals with this.
Star Performance
Mammootty excels in his role as usual. He is always majestic in the cop roles. Rony, Ankit Madhav, Azeez Nedumangad, and Shabareesh Varma also have strong roles and they did justice to the given roles.
Analysis
Roby Varghese Raj makes his debut as a director with this film, though he is well-known as a cinematographer. The script is well-written in the second half, making it interesting and fast-paced. Right from the interval block, the audience are attracted towards the story’s flow. Muhammed Rahil’s visuals are excellent and the editing is pretty decent. Kerala’s beauty and certain part of North India’s cool shades are finely captured. The production values are impressive.
