In her career spanning 8 years, Honey Rose is considered to be one of the good actresses of Malayalam cinema, but she had indeed come a long way to achieve this position. 

Honey Rose has mainly acted in Malayalam films, but had ventured in Tamil and Telugu films too. Born on 5th September 1991, Honey Rose, ventured into the Malayalam film industry during the year 2005. She worked in the film Boyy Friennd under the direction of Vinayan. Later, she did one film each in Telugu and Tamil namely Ee Varsham Sakshiga and Mudhal Kanave respectively. Honey Rose is best remembered for her role as Dhwani Nambiar in the film Trivandrum Lodge. Her performance was noticed in the film and she instantly climbed the ladder of success through the film. In fact, she even changed her name to Dhwani, but later she got back to her name Honey Rose. 

Honey was initially tensed to play the role of Dhwani in Trivandrum Lodge. She felt that the role was something against her character. Honey feels that women are given strong roles nowadays. Incidentally Honey aspired to become an actor in childhood, but when she was approached for her debut film, she was quite nervous as she had no experience in acting whatsoever. After finishing the first shot, she realized that, her place is cinema. 

Hailing from Thodupuzha, Honey Rose has worked in over 22 films. She changed her name to Soundarya when she acted in the Tamil movie Kaandharvan. Honey Rose is eagerly waiting for her break in Tamil cinema. 

Honey Rose admits that, her acting strength has evolved with movies. She signs her roles slowly and steadily while her colleagues may sign more projects. Honey states that, she wants people to keep her role in mind for years together. Also, she is not frightened by big actors’ presence. 

Even when Honey didn’t savor success, she didn’t give up. Honey once said that, she is keen on roles that would get her popularity. And now she is quite a popular star!

Ponnamma Babu is a noted character artist known for portraying satire roles. She is a trained Bharathanatyam and Mohiniyattam dancer as well. She entered into theater when she was 15 years. After her marriage to noted theater director Babu, she quit acting in her early age. She made her movie debut in 1996 in Padanayakan playing wife to the noted actor Rajan P Dev. Even though it was a small character she got recognized with her unique acting skills. She has done many character roles as mother, sister, sister-in-law, which were all performance oriented. She never looked for the length of the role she had, but how important the role was in the movie. She started dubbing for herself after Ennu Swantham Janakikutty which gave her recognition for her unique voice and her humorous dialogue delivery. She has acted in almost more than 150 movies so far and still doing good character role in movies.

Her television debut was in comedy serials like Cinemala, which addressed the day today issues either political or social in a comic way. Cinemala is a comedy programme broadcasted in Asianet once a week since 1993 completing more than 1000 episodes and considered to be the oldest programme being broadcasted in a channel. She also acted in the comedy serial Sanmanasullavarkku Samadhanam, a serial about hopes, dreams, politics and culture with gentle humor and funny dialogues. It was also a breakthrough for the National Award winner Suraj Venjaramoodu who was also part of it. 

She focuses more on acting in movies than serials and expects to get more strong and deep roles in movie in the future. She is settled in Kottayam, with her husband and her three children; two daughters Deepthi Nirmala and Pinky, and a son Mathew Damien. Her daughter Pinky has made her movie debut in the movie Nakshathrangal in 2014 and her movie Mr. Paavanayi 99.99 is expected for release shortly.

Prakash Kutty is a very famous cinematographer in Bollywood. He is a very demanding cinematographer who has produced many hits in his career. He also has the experience of working in the camera and electrical department of a movie. He made his debut as a cinematographer in the 1996 TV series called’17, Sherly Road’. The show had a large viewership, and he became famous overnight. After this show, he did not work in any film for almosta decade. He returned in the year 2005, as the photography director of the movie ‘Kal: Yesterday and Tomorrow’.

Bijibal Maniyil is an Indian composer and a singer born on 21 May 1973. Bijibal is not only a playback singer but also an expert Keyboardist. Bijibal field of interest includes film scores, classical and dance music. Bijibal is a very renowned composer and has won many prestigious awards including a National Film Award. Bijibal made his debut in the Malayalam film industry as a music director with the film Arabikatha in 2007. The film won him Mullassery Raju Music Award for the best music director in 2007. Some of the remarkable works of Bijibal includes Njaan, Balyakalasakhi, Kaliyachan, Salt N’ Pepper and Arabikatha. Bijibal won the Asiavision Movie Award for the Movie Salt N’ Pepper in 2011. Recently Bijibal is working on some movies My God, Salt Mango Tree, KL. 10 and much more.

Hari Narayanan is a Tamil and a Malayali song lyricist. It is hard to find a native Malayali who has never heard any music composition or song made by this famous lyricist. They are very fond of his music and almost hear him regularly. The most popular and famous Malayalam music and song of 2014 was composed and written by Hari. The name of the song was Olenjali Curuvi. The lyrics of the song were so touching and soothing that it captured the attention of not only the young generation, but also the old people couldn’t resist themselves from loving this composition. Even the song Kaatumooliyo Pranayam was a great hit.

Kalabhavan Mani is a renowned Indian playback singer, music director and film actor. He was born as Mani Raman on January 1, 1971, in Chalakudy, Kerala in India. Initially, he worked as a mimicry artist in Kochi before he started his acting career in the Malayalam film, Aksharam in 1995 as an Auto Rickshaw driver. 

RLV Ramakrishnan is the son of their south Indian family. He is an Indian film Actor. Ramakrishnan preferably works in the Malayalam film industry. He has been appreciated in many of his works and skills in front of the viewers. Ramakrishnan also has been credited for his successful film releases.

Suresh Kollam is an Art Director who works primarily in the Malayalam film industry and resides in Kollam, Kerala, India. He received the best art director at the Kerala State Film Awards for his film Nammal in 2003, directed by Kamal. Suresh Kollam is most famous for his work in movies such as Ordinary (2015), Utharam Parayaathe (2017), and Salt n` Paper (2011). He worked with the director Kamal in eleven movies, including Madhuranombarakkaattu (2000), Meghamalhaar (2001), Nmmal (2003), Swapnakkoodu (2003), Gramophone (2003), Karutha Pakshikal (2006), Gaddaama (2011), and many more.

Rajamani is a late music director who had been associated with music in every form right from his childhood. Music had run in his generation, and his father and grandfather too were renowned musicians in Malayalam industry. Not many know he is associated with over 700 movies in providing background score and has recorded in more than ten language movies. 

Anil Murali is an Indian film actor in Malayalam cinema. He has completed over 100 films in Malayalam. He started out in the film industry as a villain before taking on character roles. 

Anil Murali began his acting career as a positive character  in director Vinayan’s film Kanyakumariyil Oru Kavitha  in 1993. He acted in Lenin Rajendran's off beat movie Daivathinte Vikrithikal in 1994. He acted in Mammootty film Stalin Sivadas in 1999. It was Valkkannadi by Anil Babu in 2002 which gave him a real villain role. He was an integral part of Malayalam movies since 2002. He is continuing his journey doing some of the best villain characters in Malayalam films. His villain role Nenja Hakkim in Ivar (2003), as Raghu in Kayam (2010),  and Podiyadi Soman in City of God (2011) were appreciated very well. He also did many character roles in some of the recent hit movies like as S K in Manikyakallu in 2011 and as Davis in Amen in 2013. He is also part of many of the recent Malayalam movies like At Andheri , Double Barrel, Dollphin Bar, Polytechnic etc.

Recently in 2013 Anil Murali has made his debut in Tamil movies through V Z Durai's crime thriller 6 Melugu Vathigal. Anil is playing an interesting villain Diwakar, who is a bit feminine in his mannerism, oppossite Shaam and Poonam Kaur. Anil has also played an important role of Anil Menon in bilingual Tamil movie Nimirndhu Nil (Janda Pai Kapiraju in Telugu) starring Jayam Ravi in Tamil and Nani in Telugu. The Telugu version has Amala Paul in the lead role.

Anil is married to Suma who is working in Bharath Matrimonial. They have a son, Adithya and a daughter, Arundathi. Anil and family live in Edappally, Cochin.

Anil had also played important roles in the hit films, Avatharam, 100 Degree Celsius, Iyobinte Pusthakam, Ramaleela, Aakashamittayee, Shadow, Joseph, Uyare, Brother's Day, Moonam Pralayam, Forensic and Professor Dinkan. He had also played in the super hit Tamil movies, Thani Oruvan, “Kanithan,” “Appa,” “Kodi,” Enga Amma Rani, “Thondan,” Nagesh Thiraiyarangam, Mr Local, Jiivi, “Nadodigal 2” and his last film “Walter” that released in 2020. Anil had been suffering from liver ailments. He had been getting the treatment at a private hospital in Kochi. His body could not recuperate to the medications and the 56-year-old actor had his last breath on 30^th July 2020.

Dharmajan Bolgatty is a Malayalam actor, writer, television presenter and stand-up comedian. He was born in Mulavukad, Kochi in India to Madhavi and Kumaran. After finishing his primary education at Mulavukad High School, he attended St. Albert’s College in Ernakulam. He started his career as a mimicry artist, but became popular on Asianet’s Bluff Master, along with Ramesh Pisharody, who became his partner. The two had met while working as writers for Cinemala and when they realized that their tandem clicks, they have decided to put up their show. Later on, he has done over 30 films, and he is now part of Asianet’s Badai Bungalow. He turned film actor through the 2010 Malayalam film, Paappi Appacha, which stars Dileep, Innocent and Kavya Madhavan in the lead roles. He played as Dileep’s driver/side-kick in the film and the reason he owes everything to Dileep is that he was first introduced as an actor in this film. In 2011, he was seen in Thaha’s Pachuvum Kovalanum. Dharmajan has five releases in the year 2012, which include Ordinary, Naughty Professor, My Boss, Puthiya Theerangal and Chapters.

Malayalam comedy star Pakru, has the prefix Guinness to his name. Ever wondered the reason? He owns the record of a leading role enacted by a shorted actor in a full-fledged film. Born on 31st August 11976, being 2 feet 6 inch tall, Pakru worked as the male lead in the 2005 flick Albhuthadeep. He was adjudged the Special Jury Awards given by Kerala State Film association. His record was recorded in the year 2008 in Guinness Book of World Records. Albhuthadeep is a flick which has various specialties. It has 300 dwarfs, which is distinctive. The plot of the story is about dwarf men and normal ladies in an island. Prithviraj also acted with Pakru in this movie. This movie was a great success in the box office. 

The 2010 flick My Big Father had Pakru donning the role of father of Jayaram. He also enacted ther ole of a mentally disturbed person in this film. The audience were moved his performance in this film and Pakru proved that he can handle comic and serious roles with equal panache.Pakru has shared screenspace with most of the top notch actors of Mollywood. 

Earlier Guiness Pakru was known as Unda Pakru or just Pakru. However, his original name is Ajay Kumar. He has a diploma in computer science to his credit. But he chose a different path. He was good in mimicry. Along with this passion, his size made him to work in stage shows. Pakru also tested waters in mimicry and worked in mimicry groups before entering into films. When he was 18 he had worked on 1000 mimicry performances. The 1984 flick Ambili Ammavan was the first film of Pakru. Now he also works in television serials. The 2013 flick Kutteem Kolum is the directorial venture of Pakru. He also donned the protagonist role in this flick. Pakru fetched the Tamil Nadu Award for his flick Dishyum during the year 2006. Pakru has worked in around 40 films. 

On his personal front, Pakru is married to Gayathri Mohan and is blessed with a daughter. He hails from Kundara, Kollam

Malayalam actor Ajay Kumar is perhaps world’s smallest actor. This comedy star is just 2 feet 6 inches tall and due to his height and experience as an actor, he made it into the Guinness Book of World Records. Before making his debut in films, he had an experience as a mimicry artist in many stage plays and even in competition. His mother encouraged him to participate in competitions so that his participation certificates could get Ajay Kumar a government job.But luck had something else to do with his success. He was well versed in techniques of mimicry, recitation contests, fancy dress competitions, etc. and this talent fetched him applause in any competition he took part. Even in college, he took a keen interest in associating himself with politics, culture or any other form of arts as part of extra-curricular activities. Ajay was a gifted mimicry artist and even taken part in stage shows in Kerala. It is said that film director Vinayan discovered this actor while he was making a film ‘Atbhuta Dweep.' The actor was assigned the role of a warrior prince of a Lilliputian kingdom.

After the release of this film, he became a household name in Kerala. It is said that the actor did all his fight–based scenes and did not need any double to perform the art. After the release of this film ‘Atbhutta Dweep’, the actor made his entry into the 'Guinness Book of Records' as he played a full-length character in a film. Ajay Kumar ( known as 'Pakru') was seen as the dwarf prince Gajendra in the movie. The film was a huge success. He made his debut in big screen with a film ‘Ambili Ammavan’ that released in 1984.

Joy Mathew has various feathers to his cap; he is an actor, director, writer and a political persona. But he is very humble in this real life. Hailing from an upper-class Christian family he had his initial days in Kozhikode. He initially joined Pune Film Institute but later opted for post graduation in Mass Media and Journalism. But films always remained his passion. 

Born on 20th September 1961, Joy Mathew hails from Challissery, Thrissur. Joy Mathew’s films reflect his childhood days and fervent association with left-wing politics. He believes in giving equal treatment to everyone. Joy Mathew is an optimist and is service-minded. He has great passion towards theatre and films. Joy Mathew’s input to Malayalam theatre is indeed commendable. He has appeared in some movies too. Joy rocked the Malayalam film industry during the 80s. 

Joy Mathew has donned the role of a main villain in the biggest 2013 grosser-Amen. The flick Shutter is his debut directorial venture and it received great critical acclaim. This film gained international recognition and was bestowed with several honours. This movie was also well received by the audience. 

The 1986 flick Ammaye Kanan, in which John Abraham wielded the megaphone, had Joy donning the lead role. This film was lauded critically and it was adjudged as one of the best Indian films by British Film Institute. Then Joy was in a sabbatical for 27 years and re-entered the industry in 2013 and he donned the role of supporting actor as well as director. Kochu Preman is a noted, popular and famous actor who acts in the Malayalam films and is mostly seen playing comical characters. Kochu Preman is the actor’s screen name or the stage name and is real recordial name is K.S. Premkumar. Kochu Preman was born on June 1st 1955 to parents Kamaramathil Shivaraman Shastri and T.S Kamalam in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India. Kochu Preman completed his education from M.G.College, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India. From his college days, he became interested in acting and gradually became passionate about the same. After completing his college education, Kochu Preman was associated with a theatre group for 18 long years named Kalidasa Kala Kendram. In the year 1995, he got an offer for acting in films and made his debut as an actor in the Malayalam movie Dilliwala Rajkumaran. Preman’s performances in a character with a comic touch were well liked and appreciated by both the audiences, directors and producers. K.S.Premkumar then took the screen name Kochu Preman and went to star in over 100 Malayalam films till date. In the year 1984, Kochu Preman married another famous Malayalam TV serial actress Girija and together they have a son named Hari Krishnan. Kottayam Nazeer is an actor-cum-director in Malayalam cinema. He is also screenplay writer and dialog writer and even a well-known stage performer. Ramesh Pisharody, a mimicry artist and anchor, was born on October 1, 1983, in Karikode, Kottayam. He is also known as Kannan. He belongs to the Malayalam TV industry. In his career, he has also appeared in a few films as the supporting actor role and also in the lead role. Along with Dharmajan Bolgatty, who supported him as the female lead most of the times, he hosted a comedy show, Bluff Masters, which helped him gain popularity. The awesome duo, Ramesh-Dharmajan, as the lead comic actors, created a great impact on the audience, and the show, Bluff Masters, achieved great success. He is a great anchor, and nowadays, he is anchoring celebrity show like Badai Bungalow, screened on Asianet, which portrays the Malayalam version of Comedy Nights with Kapil.

Sreejith Ravi is a famous Malayalam movie actor and also an industrialist. He is the child of T. G. Ravi, who was a famous veteran actor. He is a graduate in Mechanical Department from the NIT Surathkal. He got his MBA degree from the ICFAI Business University from the city of Bangalore. He is the child of T. G. Ravi, famous movie actor and late. V.K.Subhadra who was an Associate Teacher of Medicine in the Amala Institute of Medical Sciences in the city of Thrissur. He married Sajitha. The couple has two children, Rijarashwa and Ritunjay.

Sudheer Karamana is a Malayalam films’ actor. Karamana Janardanan Nair’s first-born. He has two siblings, named Sunil and Sujay. He was born at Karamana in Thiruvananthapuram, and he studied at Kendriya Vidyalaya Pattom School.
