In Savithri, Savithri is a comrade who fights against the British Raj. In Rachiyamma, Rachiyamma is a milkmaid and her affection towards an officer is shown. In Rani, the story deals with two young lovers.
Parvathy, Samyuktha and Darshana had given a power-packed performance and impressed the audience.
Anthology movies are not new in Mollywood. Aanum Pennum deals with three different stories that have performance-oriented scripts. All the stars fit well in their roles and make the audience go deep into the stories. Savithri has politics, mythology, gender and caste discrimination. Rachiyamma deals with the women's sacrifice and Rani has a different story while comparing with the other two. The directors had made the stories a perfect watch by choosing the right stars. BGM gels well with the scripts and kudos to Bijibal and Vincent.
What’s Not There?
There will be a comparison between the stories in some anthology movies, and some might be good and some might not impress. In this anthology, all the stories are equally good, with different sets of stars playing excellently. If you love to watch anthology movies, then this is definitely watch-worthy!
