Abhishek, their neighbor comes to their rescue. What happened to the IAS officer? Did Abhishek help them? Who is he? Watch the film in theaters!
Shiva Rajkumar is stylish as ever and impresses the fans with his dialogues and action sequences. Mayuri has got a good role as Shivanna’s sister. Vivek Oberoi is decent in his role. Shraddha Srinath and Rachita Ram did justice to the roles. Director Mahendran and Harish Uthaman looked good as baddies.
Rustum is an action entertainer for Shivanna fans. The director seems to have targeted the North Indian audiences with Vivek Oberoi. Three-fourths of the second part of the film is in Hindi, as it happens in North India and the native audiences might have a jerk to watch it, although they know Hindi. The cinematography and the BGM are good. The production values are good. But, the director should have concentrated a bit on the climax. Rustum has all the essential elements expected by Shivanna fans.
What’s Not There?
Rustum is definitely a Shivanna movie and his fans could enjoy it well. However, we couldn’t say if it impressed the general audience. Rustum – one-time watch!
