Plot
The hunt for a mysterious professional killer leads to a novel named “Nandanavanadol” Within the pages a secret lies which reveals the killer’s true identity. But also a mystery hidden in the pages revolving around hockey matches in the 70s.
Star Performance
A perfect decision was taken by the director to cast actors that are of the Coorg district and it came off so well. The actors are easily assimilated in their respective roles and deliver strong performances.
Analysis
The film has a fantastic premise that can engage the audience throughout but can the makers keep that promise? The film’s screenplay goes back and forth and seamlessly, especially in the first half. The actors have played their parts well. You'd feel the performances are raw, but it's their first time facing the camera, and all of them have delivered good performances. Their lack of emotions in some sequences has more to do with the camera movement, a lot of zoom shots are used which would annoy the audiences. The film is also a breath of fresh air amongst the massy action films. The film maintains the promise of keeping the viewers engaged. The songs of the film elevates the story too and it's a blend of the tribes and their culture which is detailed and presented well. Nandanavanadol is a surprise among the action films. It has the content the audience wants to watch. It does have pacing issues and is not technically proficient. It deserves to be watched in theatres,
