Plot

Gandhada Gudi is a documentary where the Powerstar Puneeth Rajkumar, aka Appu, takes the audience to the dense forests and rivers in Karnataka. Appu’s wife, Ashwini, and director Amoghavarsha are also in the docudrama. Appu shares his experiences during the shooting of the docudrama. He also takes the audience to the birthplace of his father, the late Dr Rajkumar. Appu narrates his experience right from his childhood, his first camping in the forest, etc.

Star Performance

It is a delight to see Appu again on screen.

Analysis

Though it is a documentary, we don’t feel it as a boring drama, as Puneeth narrates his experiences in his unique style. The way he shares his experiences in the woods is impressive and brings tears to the eyes of his fans. Pratheek Shetty perfectly captures the beautiful scenery. Amoghavarsha’s perfect execution is really a treat to Appu fans. The music by Ajaneesh is excellent, and the travel music gels well with the narration.
