Plot

This is the story of Bangalore underworld during the 1980s. The movie starts with Agni Sridhar’s beautiful narration about Kotwal Ramchandra. With the declaration of emergency by Indira Gandhi, M. P. Jayaraj turned out to be the uncrowned gangster of Bangalore. He seems to have got a jail sentence of around ten years. Meanwhile, when he returns, he finds that Kotwal Ramachandra has taken his place. In this background, how a love story grows is shown in this movie. Aa Dinagaul is a beautifully written story by Agni Sridhar, who belongs to underworld life

Analysis

This movie was shot during 2007 and includes a story of 1980s century. It was a tough job to change Bangalore from 2007 to 1980s, but the film-maker was successful in doing this. The acting of Sharath Lohitashwa as Kotwal Ramchandra is encouraging and challenging. His on-screen chemistry with Veda Sastry is impressive. In his role, he proved that a young artist could also rule film industry. The Cinematography is very much impressive. To change new Bangalore to old one and shooting scenes according to that is not easy for everyone, but however they manage to make it happen. Since this film is based on the underworld, so violence is natural. The special effect is also present in the movie for which Kannada industry is famous. Sometimes special effects add success to the movies. The proper narration is missing here which happens to be an important part of any film. It got the best reviews from critics also. Story The story is based on the book 'Dadagiriya Dinagalu' by Agni Sridhar and includes underworld Bangalore during the 1980s.
