Plot
The story revolves around a young man, Vicky. The movie is a serial film after Stree. Both the movie focuses on the town of Chanderi, Stree. In this movie, the ghost haunts the city once again after Vicky and his friends resolve the mystery of a ghost woman in the first movie. The ghost woman disappeared without any trace. The villagers still think that Vicky has gone crazy as he was in love with that woman. This time another rumor started in the village and it created fear among people across the city. A beheaded ghost who is also known as Sarkatta entered the city. He is abducting women from Chanderi. No one knows about him. Vicky, who saved the city earlier gets a message from the mysterious woman that the town of Chanderi needs him and he must save women.
He gather his friends including Rudra, Bittu and Janna to defeat Sarkatta. They plan to find the root of Sarkatta’s origin. So, they went to the haunted house in the town where Stree, the mysterious woman used to live. There, Vicky found a spot. It was the burial ground for Sarkatta’s dead body. Shortly, Sarkatta attacked them. Although they manage to escape, he still haunts them, especially Vicky. Vicky’s life is in danger. So, Stree appears again with special powers to help Vicky. She suggests that they all should team up together and defeat Sarakata. In the end, they all defeat him.
Star performance
The main characters of the story are Vicky. Rajkummar Rao plays Vicky's character in the movie. He delivered an incredible performance. His chemistry with other actors is fantastic and palpable. He perfectly showed Vicky as a responsible man. In the first part as well, Rajkummar made the movie worth watching. Even this time, he gave an excellent performance. Another vital actor is Shraddha Kapoor. In the film, Shraddha appears as a ghost without any name. Her acting skills are so good that it made the film the perfect blend of horror and comedy.
The supporting cast includes Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, Aparshakti Khurana, Atul Srivastava, Mushtaq Khan, Sunita Rajwar, Anya Singh, Arvind Bilgaiyan, Bhoomi Rajgor, Sunil Kumar, Aakash Dabhade, Simran Sharma, Ajay Pal, Mustaqueem Khan, Badriprasad Chavan, Vipasha Arvind, Tamannaah Bhatia, Amar Kaushik, Varun Dhawan and Akshay Kumar have delivered impressive performances.
Analysis
Stree 2 is a fantastic movie. It has a fabulous blend of horror and comedy. In the first half the comedy scenes are fun. However, in the second half of the film, horror and comedy doesn’t mix well. Overall, the film has some good laughter and scary scenes. The chemistry between the main protagonist is brilliant, mainly the chemistry between Shraddha and Rajkummar Rao is impressive. The storyline is exciting and easy to visualize. It is not only a simple comedic movie. It has many intense and horrific scenes as well. The chemistry between the main cast and the supporting cast is fantastic. The execution of the movie is excellent. It connects with the audience.Â
The music of the film is exciting and enjoyable too. The pace of the film is just perfect as it engages the audience. Compared with the first movie, Stree, this movie has a weak storyline. Although, the editing is fantastic. The plot of the movie is unpredictable. The supporting actors have also delivered impressive performances throughout the movie. The film also has remarkable cinematography in various significant scenes.

Verdict
There is no doubt the movie is terrific. You will have a good laugh along with some fantastic jumps as well. So, you should watch this movie. It is worth the time.
