Sunita Rajwar was born on 6th November 1969, in Haldwani, Uttarakhand. She studied at the Nirmala Convent School, and later pursued her post-graduation from D.B.S Kumaun University in Nanital, later Sunita graduated from the National School of Drama (NSD),
New Delhi, in 1997.
After graduation Sunita got cast in several Bollywood movies, such as Main
Madhuri Dixit Banna Chahti Hoon (2003),
Buddha Mar Gaya (2007), Ek Chalis Ki Last Local (2008), The White Elephant (2009), and Kafa (2013). Main Madhuri Dixit Banna Chahti Hoon, motion picture, is around a young person who takes the strides of her object of worship Madhuri Dixit to turn into a star, yet later on, she discovers that getting into the business is not that simple as it appears.
She is as much popular in the Indian Television Industry as she is in Bollywood, with a role of cute, bubbly character Dhaniya, Rajwar became a household name with the TV serial Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (12 January 2009 – Present), aired on Star Plus. Other than this, she has been cast in other TV shows like
Hitler Didi (November 07, 2011 – August 2, 2013), which aired on Zee TV. Because of her acting skills Sunita Rajwar has been nominated for many awards, such as in the category of Breakthrough Performance – Female (Max Stardust Award 2008); and in the media category at the Abby Awards 2005, which she won.
Sunita Rajwar likes to travel a lot and attend different sorts of carnivals with her family and friends. In an interview, she said that Europe is her favorite destination to visit, and even though she has never been to Europe, she fancies it a lot. She said, “The old cities and beautiful streets are worth dying for.”
