CAST & CREW
When a movie has new faces as the leads, it triggers interest. The audience and the critics alike will be very keen to judge their potentials. Well, let’s see how Sanam Teri Kasam turns out to be.
Mawra Hocane, who hails from a conventional South Indian family, is her daddy’s puppet (she has to get the permission of her father for every action that she takes) while Harshvardhan Rane, her neighbor, is a pensive recluse. And being a recluse, yes you heard it right, Harshavardhan is also a drunkard.
Mawra, who is a unique blend of modernity and naiveness, is yet to find her soulmate. Harshvardhan too has his issues. Well, how these two protagonists get into the lives of each other? Watch the movie, which has its unique share of twists, to unravel this question.
Harshvardhan Rane, who has worked in some Telugu movies, is debuting in Bollywood with Sanam Teri Kasam. Well, he has the charm to attract the audience, and his acting is quite good. As for Mawra Hocane, who is a renowned VJ from Pakistan, she is at her elegant best and also essays a convincing performance. She is one to be watched out for and will surely come rounds in Bollywood. Murli Sharma, Divyetta, Sudesh Berry, and Manish Choudhary come up with a neat job.
Vinay Sapru and Radhika Rao have helmed direction for the film, which deals with the love story of two youngsters, who somewhat make an unusual pair. Well, it is clear that the director duo is still trapped in the period of melodramatic romantic films.
What’s not there?
Sanam Teri Kasam can be watched once, at least for the performances of the lead pair.
