Plot
Jayeshbhai Patel is married to Mudra. The couple has a 9-year-old daughter Siddhi. After a few miscarriages, Mudra gets pregnant again. Her parents-in-law want her to give birth to a boy. After knowing that she carries a girl, Jayeshbhai is afraid that his unborn kid will have to face the life threat. So, he decides to save her and plans to escape from their place. Were they able to save the child? The rest of the film deals with it!
Star Performance
Ranveer Singh has done a neat job. Shalini Pandey, Ratna Pathak, and Boman Irani did justice to the given roles.
Analysis
The director has taken an age-old script and polished it with new techniques. But, his attempt didn’t succeed. Few jokes bring us laughs, and some make us giggle. The movie has the same old dialogues about why women shouldn’t be educated. At a particular stage, the audience feels that they are watching a social drama on TV. Though the making is good, some unique scenes would have changed the movie’s fate. The music and cinematography are good.
