Plot
The movie comes with an outstanding copy of the Bollywood movie ‘Don’ produced in 2006 by Farhan Akhtar a diction of the first ‘Don’ production of 1978. Don is the dangerous Indian underworld kingpin while Vijay is a simpleton who resembles Don, and the role is played by none other than the king khan Shah Rukh Khan. The story line of this film is developed when after Don is arrested by the police but dies from his injuries the police replace him with Vijay to get vital information. However, things go worst when Vijay become involved with Don and his organization, he faces a lot harm from the criminals when he tries to apprehend them.
Star Performance
The leading actor, Shah Rukh Khan, does an excellent job on having the audience see two different outlooks: the smooth, dangerous Don, and the gullible, simple Vijay. To sum up, due to such portrayal of both characters the movie is rather exciting and can be watched with great attention. Priyanka Chopra as Roma can match up to Khan and you see a mix of aggressive and sensitive side of the character. The rest of the star cast is good. Boman Irani plays the role of wicked DCP De Silva, and Arjun Rampal looks good as a vengeance brother.
Analysis
I really liked the new wave presented by Farhan Akhtar in ‘Don’, the look and style is contemporary and fresh. Screenplay is very loyal to the show but adds some fundamental life aspects which make people watch with bated breath. That is the visual style of the film, smooth choreography of the scenes of action, and sharp phrases. One of the most impressive variables is music by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, tracks as ‘Aaj Ki Raat’ and a updated ‘Khaike Paan Banaraswala’ became very popular.
The reception of the movie has been averagely polarized on grounds of its presenting a convoluted narrative than the original client as well as its deviation from it, although it has garnered appreciation for daring to do so and SRK’s brilliant portrayal.

Verdict
Don 2006 is a stylish and thrilling movie that does not need to be compare with Hollywood and stands by itself because of Shah Rukh Khan’s fantastic acting and Farhan Akhtar’s direction. Even though it only partially departs from the source material, the film garners a new perspective on the familiar narrative, thus, it remains worth watching for lovers of Bollywood action movies.
