Satyajit Sharma, the Balika Vadhu fame is a popular Indian television and theater actor. He was born in 1969 and after completing his B.A from Delhi University he joined the National School of Drama and graduated in 1994. Since then he has risen from working in commercials to delivering some great performances in mainstream Bollywood films and television series.
After graduating, Satyajit worked in several famous plays like Black with Equal, along
Vikram Kapadia
and Marathon which is adapted from an Italian play. He is also known for his act in Collaborators, which exposes the defects in a democratic system as India. He soon switched to television and acted in shows like Kabhi Haa Kabhi Naa, Kitani Mohabbat Hai and the famous Balika Vadhu, where his role recently ended. Additionally, he has also acted in Bollywood flicks like Chameli, Inteqam:

, Don, Paa and
Yeh Faasley
. He also acted in commercials for brands like Maggie, Idea, Sundrop.
Satyajit Sharma, after recently quitting as Basant in Balika Vadhu is all set to deliver his comic side to us in the new TV show Bal Gopal Kare Dhamaal, which is a story of the relationship between a common man and God, quite a popular trend in Bollywood these days. He says it will be his first chance to do comedy on television although he has done comedy earlier on stage.
