More than the sound of the music, you can hear people whistling at everything Salman Khan does on screen. Only his name is enough to drag his fans to theatres a number of times in quick successions. In recent times, ' Bhai Click to look into! >> Read More... ', as his fans call him, has reinvented himself and has taken a new direction in his career. He is now more inclined towards action-comedy roles in which he can flaunt his comic skills along with his unwavering swagger in action sequences. ' and you are sure to love it in his latest release, in which Bhai has simply outdone himself. Bhai's effortless acting blended with a powerful music album by Sajid Wajid, which has broken records after records, and on top of all that Sonakshi Sinha Sonakshi Sinha is a well-known Indian Actress. She >> Read More... , daughter of Shatrughan Sinha, debuts with this movie. Okay, it really doesn't get bigger than this. But, were the makers able make a good product that will last the test of time? Let's find out.

Plot:

'Chulbul Pandey' or as he calls himself 'Robin-hood Pandey', is a corrupt small city cop. He wrestles with bandits, does gravity defying stunts, dances without any regard of time or place, delivers utterly on spot one liners, and he romances 'Ganv ki gori' as well. Chulbul has an estranged and somewhat tensed relation with his step-father, 'Prajapati Pandey' ( Vinod Khanna Vinod Khanna, the name of the tinsel town, is alwa >> Read More... ), and brother, 'Makhanchan Pandey' ( Arbaaz Khan Born in a family that has strong ties in the film >> Read More... ), but is 'Maa ki ankhon ka tara'. The story doesn't actually kick in till after the interval, where Chulbul goes on a war path against a tainted politician, 'Cheddi Singh' ( Sonu Sood Sonu Sood is a famous Indian Cinema actor, model w >> Read More... ). During the first half, the movie concentrates on his personal life, relations and in developing one of the funniest and well written character in recent years. There is plenty of music and swagger shown by Bhai, which will keep you engaged till you reach the second half when he kicks some serious a**.

Analysis:

Debutant director Abhinav Kashyap has applied a formula which has been well tested in the past and created a movie which will be remembered years from now. He does perfect justice with whatever mess of a story he had and turned into a brilliant piece of entertainment. Even though the story was weak, the dialogues and one liners were so funny that you will roll on your tummy, laughing and gasping for air. The art department has done a brilliant job in creating a small town and visually appealing sets for dance numbers. The choreography looks like a part of an entire comic plan of the makers, because they add to your giggles and give, unintentional, depth to Chulbul's already goofy attitude. The music is a homerun and a huge hit. It will be idiotic for me to pick a favourite, because whether it's 'munni' or 'Tere mast-mast do nain', every song is brilliant.

Star Performances:

Salman Khan outdid himself, I guess I have stated that enough. This was a role of a lifetime and he will be remembered for this movie for years to come. Sonakshi Sinha impresses with her quiet, yet brave character. She is the perfect match for a badass cop like Robin-hood Pandey and shows great promise. Sonu Sood's character was not as well written as Salman's, but he did a brilliant job with whatever depth his character was provided. He flaunts his brilliantly chiselled physique and his acting skills are astounding. Rest of the cast may not have given award winning performances, but still they made their presence felt.

What's there?

1. Salman Khan- his fans will be dragged to this one like ants to a sugar cube.

2. Music is another factor which will attract more viewers, and if that's not enough, Malaika Arora Khan’s jaw dropping item number is sure to drag more than enough audience.

3. Comedy-action genre fans will not be disappointed by this product; there are a lot of flying punches and shirt tearing to keep them glued to their seats.

What's not there?

1. Only thing that is missing from this movie, is a better story in which characters could have worked more and achieved their true potentials.

Verdict:

So to sum up, ‘ Dabangg Click to look into! >> Read More... ’ is a sure hit, there is no one denying it. There is music and there are crude jokes, there are bandits dancing to ringtones and there is, most importantly, Salman Khan. This movie is tightly packed with excitement and more than enough hype to bring in loads of viewers. So watch it once, even if you are not a Salman Khan fan. But don't go in there expecting a soul enriching drama and life altering speeches of a cop about patriotism, no, Chulbul Pandey is nuts and he is shameless, and he embraces it. Salman Khan wears this role like a glove, and guess what, it's a perfect fit.
