Aakash Kaushik is a screenwriter known for penning several blockbusters in the Hindi film industry. Aakash was born in 1970 and has been actively involved in the industry for over 16 years, since 2007. Aakash's talent and immense passion for films have landed him several projects in the Hindi film industry, and he continues to work on several upcoming big-budget projects. Aakash is a vivid-minded person who even believes that the rise of OTT in India after the pandemic, even though many theatres closed, allowed writers to be more creative and experimental in their respective genres, breaking several norms in the case of stories and characters. During his initial struggling days, Aakash Kaushik started as a production trainee in Vic Sarin's 'Partition'.

From there, Aakash went on to work as an additional dialogue writer in 'F.A.L.T.U.', which was the remake of the 2006 movie 'Accepted' in 2011. This gave him the needed boost to work as a writer since then, as "F.A.L.T.U." was received by the audience. From there, Aakash Kaushik worked in several low-budget movies like ' Jodi Breakers Click to look into! >> Read More... ' and ' Rabba Main Kya Karoon Click to look into! >> Read More... ' in 2012 and 2013, respectively. Then, after a 3-year gap, Aakash worked again as a dialogue writer with his previous collaborator Remo D'Souza in his action/fantasy film ' A Flying Jatt Click to look into! >> Read More... ' in 2016. The movie did not go as planned due to its average storyline and subpar VFX. But still, this led Aakash to his next big collaboration with the multi-starrer film 'Housefull 4," starring huge names like Akshay Kumar, Bobby Deol and Ritesh Deshmukh.

The film became a major commercial success, grossing almost 300 crores worldwide. It was labeled the 4th highest-grosser of 2019 and also the 49th highest-grossing Indian film of all time. This acted as the next big thing in Aakash Koushik's portfolio, which landed him his next job, writing the story, screenplay, and dialogues of Bhool Bhulaiya 2, the standalone sequel of Priyadarshan's Bhool Bhulaiya released in 2007. This sequel became the most successful Hindi movie released in theatres during a time when several Hindi films went under the radar due to the pandemic. In 2022, Aakash Koushik wrote the Siddarth Malhotra and Ajay Devgn starrer 'Thank God," a comedy/fantasy movie inspired by the 2009 Danish film 'Sorte Kugler' (a.k.a. What Goes Around)," and is currently waiting for his next project.
