Sandeep Shirodkar

Sandeep Shirodkar is a well-known background music composer and a record producer in India. He has made several film scores for famous movies such as Dabangg, Bodyguard, Prince and Once Upon a Time in Mumbai.

Sandeep got an ear for music from his father. His father Mr Hemant Shirodkar, played guitar as a sessions musician for Kalyanji and Anandji- the composer duo. Sandeep’s father took him to the session recordings. He kickstarted his professional career at a young age of twelve years after he played his first ever recording session at this age.

His father was the one who taught him how to play a synthesizer. Sandeep realized the calling of his life at a very young age itself. He is the recipient of Global Indian Music Award, which was awarded to him in 2011, BIG Star IMA and Mirchi Music Awards were also given to him in 2011.
