Plot

” Davis played by Taraji P. Henson. Ali works as a successful sports agent but is often pushed aside by her male colleagues. After she is passed over for a promotion, her boss explains that it was because she does not connect well with men. Angered by this, Ali announced that she would sign up-and-coming player Jamal, played by Shane Paul. At a friend’s party, Ali met a psychic called Sister, played by Erykah Badu, who gives Ali a concoction. The following day, Ali discovers that she can now hear the thoughts of men around her. The film follows Ali on her hilarious journey as she uses her newly gained powers to succeed in a male dominated career.
Star Performance
Taraji P. Henson gives a good performance as Alison and has great comedic timing. Erykah Badu also gives a hilarious performance.
Analysis
“What Men Want” is a simple comedy film without any complex sub-plots. The humor is good but the film feels boring after some time.
