It is an American thriller by Sam Miller, the director of Obsessed. The story is that of a wife having two children; she is threatened by a stranger played by Idris Alba. Her life takes a dramatic turn, and she fights for her survival.
Plot
Terri (Taraji P. Henson) is happy with her husband & two children and lives an ideal life with them. Until one day when her husband goes to a meeting, her life is substantially changed. Colin (Idris Alba), a narcissist, escapes from a prison and smashes his car in a storm. He knocks on the door for help. Terri having a relaxed evening with her friend Meg helps him. But it turns out something else. Meg got murdered by him, and Terri tries to escape but fails. Colin drove Terri and her children to Alexis’s (his girlfriend) house whom he murdered for cheating on him. He treats Terri and her children as hostages there. Terri discovered something and thus related to it all the events happen.
Star Performances
Idris Alba as Colin and Taraji P. Henson as Terri fully justify their characters. I must say Taraji P. Henson steals the show. Though due to the storyline there are some weak performances.
Analysis
It is quite a dull storyline as everything is predictable after first half an hour. The movie also shows women empowerment about domestic violence. It is not up to the expectations.

If you love to watch some suspense-related stories, then go for it. It’s a one time watch for Taraji P. Henson’s performance.
