” is a romantic drama about marriage, relationship and love. It shows the journey of a couple through their up and downs in their relationship bypassing the obstacles coming on the way. It is the Film adaption of the bestselling romantic novel written by T.D. Jakes who also produces the movie.
Plot
It’s the story of a couple, Dave, and Clarice, who has been married for years but they are on the verge of separation. All of a sudden Clarice got injured in an accident that results in the interference of her mother into their lives. She was there for her (Clarice’s) physical and mental support. By the time, Dave develops chemistry with Julie, a therapist who was looking after Clarice. Dave starts getting a good vibe and great comfort being with Julie and her son Bryson. At that time, Bryson dies tragically by drowning. With that incident, Dave and Julie’s bond strengthens, however, Dave had to choose between her and Clarice. He visits Julie one day to give his condolences; he was going to kiss her, but he stops, he realizes he actually loves Clarice. So Dave goes back to Clarice, they get reunited. Clarice thanks her mother for being such a wonderful support. At the end, Dave is going to be a father.
Verdict
A well-directed light hearted romantic comedy with good actors and a well-written script that can be a time pass movie. However, if you are fond of movies about relationships, this one can be a go.
