The other side of heaven 2: fire of faith is a family-based biography, directed by Mitch Davis based on the book The Fire of Faith by John Groberg. The movie is produced by Mitch Davis and Steven A. Lee, starring Christopher Gorham, Natalie Medlock, Ben Baker, and Alex Tarrant in the lead roles. Music is given by Christian Davis, and the movie is produced by Two Roads Productions company.
Plot
The movie is set 10 years after the 1st heaven movie. John Groberg was made the president of the Tonga–Fiji mission of the Latter-day Saints Jesus Christ church. He moves to the island with his wife and five daughters. After some time, their sixth child is born, a boy, but he is born so severely sick that they can’t even travel for better medical attention.
Soon enough, differences arise when the Tongan minister learns that his son is planning to baptize and serve as a missionary. The minister buries his son neck-deep in the sand while a storm is brewing. His brother tries to help him, but a bolt of lightning strikes him, and he dies. Miraculously, his son was saved, but he is in a coma.
Both the fathers keep their differences aside and console each other as their sons fight for their lives.
Star Performance
As in the first part, we’ve seen Christopher Gorham as John Groberg; it was a delight to see him again in the second part as well. He was amazing as always, and the emotions he provoked were so real and raw. This time it was Natalie Medlock as Jean Groberg, and not Anne Hathaway She must be the most popular one-film-stardom as “ >> Read More... , but she was also a perfect fit for the role. Ben Baker plays Viliami 'Sione' Paletu'a and Alex Tarrant plays Toutai Paletu'a, and both of them did a great job.
 Analysis
The first part of the series came in 2001, and after so many years, when the second movie came, it was a pleasant surprise for the viewers. This movie didn’t fail to touch the hearts of people and has a heart-wrenching story. Some scenes were tough to watch, and the movie took extreme turns as it goes, but it also made sure to bring tears.
Though it is a continuation of the first movie, it is not necessary to watch the first one to understand this part. This one has its plot and perfect execution without making things confusing.
