, her psychiatrist, finds that all the medicines are ineffective on her. He contacts Catherine Zeta-Jones, Mara's old psychiatrist, who suggests Law to prescribe a new medicine called Ablixa to her. It had few side effects on her. Sleepwalking was on of the side effect of the medicine. One night, when she sleepwalks, she stabs her husband, Channing Tatum, to death. She was not punished since she was under medication. But Law lost his reputation. To regain it, he tries to solve the mystery behind the Mara-Jones duo. Will he be able to regain his name?
ANALYSIS: This movie is a bad match with the director of this movie, Steven Soderbergh. Scott Z.Burns composed the script of the movie. The script contained many problems that cannot be solved even by a business analyst. Though the movie started off briskly, with fascinating characters, it went off the track as the movie goes off the track. Though the movie lacks the Soderbergh's touch, he pushes the movie forward. The script should be worked well. Law was not aware of the new medicine, and did not even take any measure to do further research about it, before prescribing it to his patient.
STAR PERFORMANCES: Jude Law managed to be eviler. But still, he suits more of a supporting role, rather than a lead role. Mara did a good job in performing a role that does not make any sense. She throws herself into emotional extremes for the sake of the movie.
WHAT'S THERE? Channing Tatum got another wonderful chance in putting his complete efforts, and displaying his performance.
WHAT'S NOT THERE? The story line is so puzzling that it may become a joke, if the audience starts to entangle it. The second half is a very big weakness of the movie, as it does not make any sense.
VERDICT: A bad farewell for one of the best directors in the industry.
