Plot: The plot revolves around Megamind, who is an outstanding but villainous character. He fails to achieve success in the missions that he undertakes. All of his attempts are foiled by the Metro Man, who is a superhero. But, one fine day, Megamind is taken in by surprise as he beats the odds and defeats his rival Metro Man. Megamind finds something missing in his life without his rival. To bring a purpose to his life, Megamind turns the creator of a new rival. The rival instantaneously decides that being bad is more enthralling and entertaining.

The movie Megamind springs as a surprise to the audience. The movie happens to be a very pleasant computer animation work. As the movie unfolds, it appears like some stereotyped work. The audiences feel like the movie is falling into the usual category of such movies. But, there are some pretty interesting twists in the movie which are palatable to the audiences. The movie proves to be a visual amazement worth watching. The roles in the movie seem to have a sharp reversal. The reversal is such that audiences favor the character that so far proved villainous. These ingredients in the movie leave indelible memories in the audiences. The voiceover by Will Ferrell is commendable. The deliveries are so good that his mediocre performances in previous movies are forgotten. The movie is a visual entertainment, it has an excellent storyline, and the dialogues are intelligent and timely.

Verdict: The movie is worth watching for the visual treat in it.
