What is the effect of this on others on Wall Street? To answer these questions, do watch the movie.
Analysis:
Spread over 36 hours, the story is based on a Wall Street Investment Bank right before the 2008 financial crisis. It can be classified as few of those amazing movies made on Wall Street. The movie very diplomatically shows the shrewd side of the people at Wall Street, without emphasizing on the good or bad portions. The acting and direction make it a lot more worth than just the story. However, it may be difficult to comprehend in time, for people who aren’t well aware of the terms at Wall Street. Although it only touches the surface of the crisis, it aptly shows the events that led to the crisis.
Verdict:
For someone who is well aware of Wall Street and takes interest in its happenings, it is a great watch. Also if you wish to understand the way the brains work in this sector, go for it.
