Plot
Lucy is an egoist and unethical CEO of Incredible Edibles. Incredible Edibles is America’s premier provider of edible cutlery. She proposes a team-building trip that involves caving in New Mexico. They go on a hike led by Brandon. Brandon suggests taking the beginner’s route, but Lucy forces everyone to take the advanced route into a nearby cave. The cave is led by small generator. A minor earthquake occurs in the cave. Brandon tries to escape from a narrow passage but gets crushed under the boulders. After the incident, the group gets trapped inside the cave. The group explains that Freddie’s nickname is Fuck Toy because Freddie and Lucy are in a sexual relationship. Freddie says that Lucy is weinsteining him. As Lucy is unethical and egoist, the group shows hatred toward her, and Lucy arrogantly defends herself. The group brings only one package of edible cutlery, and the group quickly runs out of food. They decide to cannibalize Brandon. They will be chaos for food and survival. The movie is about whether they can survive the circumstances and come out of the cave safely.
Star Performance
Demi Moore did a great job playing this character. Even though her character has negative characteristics, she got the attention and love of the audience. It is a tremendous comical ride directed by Patrick.
Analysis
It had its premiere at the Sundance Film Festival. It contains dark comedy. It is an R-rated film. It is about the behavior of the self-centered and unethical CEO of Incredible Edibles, Lucy. The youth enjoy the movie more than the other age groups.
