Plot
Lainy and Kate have been friends since childhood. Since she was young, Lainy wanted to become a mother. Lainy had always thought that giving birth and caring for a child were the best things for any person in the world. After a decade, Lainy and Kate are still friends, and they have taken up a different profession. Lainy works for a school. One day, Lainy gets shocking information that Kate is pregnant. Lainy had just broken up with her boyfriend and felt that she couldn’t become pregnant at that moment, but guess that Kate was settled in life. She envied Kate, and plans to have a fake baby bump. She keeps distance from Kate and even attends prenatal classes with her baby bump. There, she befriends Megan. Soon, she finds herself romantically attached to Megan’s brother, Josh. What happens next forms the rest of the story.
Star Performance
Amy Schumer is quite decent in the given role. Yet, not all her comedy portions worked out. Will Forte, Jillian Bell, Damon Wayans Jr., and Brianne Howey did what was required of them.
Analysis
The film doesn’t bring anything very humorous or very sensible. It showcases how silly she is to tie the fake belly to show that she is really pregnant. To whom does she want to show that she is pregnant? Kate is a supporting friend, and what’s the necessity to envy her? However, there are a few instances to show how the world treats pregnant people. The scene when Lainy feels the inner pain of Kate, whom she abandoned unnecessarily was neatly shot. In that scene, Megan was the main reason to get it hyped, as she was the one, who opens up her present situation to Lainy. Though a few comedy evokes laughter, certain scenes are lengthy and uncomfortable to watch. The BGM and the visuals are pretty decent. The editing should have been better.

Verdict
As it is an OTT movie, the audience escaped. If they find it boring, they can just change the channel and watch something rejuvenating. Kinda Pregnant is definitely not a must-watch movie.
